The Origin of Southern Maryland Parent Line
Parent Line was created
in 1995 by Kelle Wilder Schuh. After teaching for 6 years in an area that offered a parenting publication, she
had grown to depend on it a s a valuable resource. When she accepted a teaching job in Southern Maryland, she was in search
of a similar publication, but one was not to be found. With a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and a
Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, it seemed like the natural fit to create a parenting/family publication for
the Tri-county area. And hence, Parent Line was born.
Parent Line has now been serving Southern Maryland since 1995, and we
are gearing up to celebrate our anniversary going into our 18th year!
Line Magazine can be found in Libraries, Grocery Stores, Day Cares, Schools and anywhere else families go in Southern Maryland!
